izn.games: no-install browser games

What it is

izn.games is a collection of about 70 small games that run straight in your browser. Puzzles, arcade, sports and racing, card and board games: 2048, sudoku, Minesweeper, mahjong, Tetris, Snake, Solitaire, Spider, Reversi, checkers, mini golf. Each game sits on its own lightweight page with the rules and a few tips. The site comes in English and Russian, each with its own addresses. This is one of our own projects.

Why we picked it

There's nothing standing between you and the game. Open the tab and play: no download, no account, no "sign in to continue" screen. Everything works on a phone or a desktop, with swipes or arrow keys.

What we like is that it isn't an endless portal feed. It's a hand-picked set of classics sorted into clear collections — Puzzle, Arcade, Solitaire, Games for Kids — with a search box that understands both English and Russian, a light and dark theme, and a fullscreen button. Some games have online leaderboards, and your personal best is saved in the browser, so it's still there when you come back. You can also install the site like an app.

Where to start

  • Open 2048 or Minesweeper for a classic five-minute break.
  • Browse the solitaire set: Klondike, Spider, TriPeaks, Pyramid.
  • Take on the computer at Reversi or checkers.
  • With a kid nearby, try Games for Kids — 15 simple games with no chat and no in-app purchases.
  • Give Suika a go: merge fruit up to a watermelon. It's stickier than it looks.

Who it's for

Anyone who wants a short break without installing yet another app. People searching for a specific classic — sudoku, mahjong, solitaire — who want to start playing instead of wading through banners. And anyone on an older laptop or phone, since the pages are light and load fast.

Quick answers

Do I need an account? No. Games open right away; the site has no accounts at all.

Can I play online with friends? No, the games are single-player; in the board games your opponent is the computer.

Is it free? Yes, every game is free, with nothing locked behind a payment.
