V&A Museum on Pinterest

The London design museum's Pinterest: jewelry, fashion, exhibition boards on Chanel, Africa Fashion and the Korean Wave, plus V&A-inspired interiors.

V&A Museum on Pinterest

What it is

This is the official Pinterest account of the Victoria and Albert Museum, London's museum of art, design and performance. When we checked, it had around 167,000 followers, 39 boards and more than 3,800 pins.

Many boards mirror the museum's big exhibitions: "Gabrielle Chanel. Fashion Manifesto," "Africa Fashion," "Hallyu! The Korean Wave" and "Donatello: Sculpting the Renaissance." Alongside them are ongoing themes: "Jewellery," which runs from a ring Beyoncé gave the museum to work by contemporary makers, and "Fashion in Motion," covering catwalk events at the museum and fashion references.

Why we picked it

The V&A is a museum of things: dresses, textiles, ceramics, furniture, jewels. Objects like these look great on Pinterest, where you see them large and in detail, one theme at a time. If you missed the Chanel show or the Korean pop culture exhibition, the matching board gives you a decent sense of what was on display.

Fair warning: the newest boards are about products inspired by the collection (wallpaper, china, clothing), and many of those pins lead to shops. For the museum material, head to the exhibition boards.

The account is still in use. The "Home interiors inspired by the V&A" board, full of rooms styled with patterns from the collection, was updated in July 2026.

Where to start

  • Open "Jewellery" for close to two hundred pieces, many of them experimental studio work.
  • Browse "Gabrielle Chanel. Fashion Manifesto" for fashion history.
  • Try "Africa Fashion" for 20th- and 21st-century African design.
  • "Hallyu! The Korean Wave" is the one for K-culture fans.
  • "Home interiors inspired by the V&A" has ideas for bringing museum prints home.

Who it's for

Fashion lovers and costume researchers, jewelers, textile and interior designers. Anyone who enjoys looking closely at beautiful objects and learning where they came from.
