NASA on Pinterest

What it is

This is NASA's official Pinterest profile. When we checked, it had more than half a million followers, 82 boards and roughly 10,500 pins. Everything is in English, though the images do most of the talking.

The boards are organized by subject: "Solar System & Beyond" for planets and deep space, "Earth" for views of our planet from orbit, "Humans in Space" for crews and the station, "Hubble Space Telescope" for the telescope's imagery, and "Space Tech" for engineering and hardware. There is also a board on the OSIRIS-REx asteroid mission and one called "NASA People" about the folks behind the work.

Why we picked it

NASA's website is enormous and easy to get lost in. Pinterest turns it into something you can simply scroll: nebulae, storm systems swirling over oceans, spacecraft docking. Most pins link back to nasa.gov pages or NASA videos, so a pretty picture is usually one click away from a proper explanation.

The account is still active. Its newest board, "Learn With NASA," was updated in September 2026 and holds more than 1,600 pins: classroom resources, games, how-to-draw guides for Artemis spacecraft and career spotlights.

Where to start

  • Open "Solar System & Beyond" for the most striking planet and galaxy images.
  • Scroll through "Earth" if you want orbital photos that make great wallpapers.
  • Head to "Hubble Space Telescope" for deep-space views.
  • Teachers and parents should go straight to "Learn With NASA."
  • Save favorites to your own board and build a personal space moodboard.

Who it's for

Anyone who loves space but doesn't want to wade through mission reports. Teachers and parents looking for visual classroom material. Designers and illustrators hunting for planet and night-sky references.
